October-Building is complete. Only have wish list items to complete such as landscaping, etc. Donations welcome.!!!
August-Building is now open for use, with only punch list items to complete, including installing the new steeple.
July 19-New building has been completed except for installing flooring, some equipment yet to be delivered, final touch ups and inspections. Rennovation continues in church. Still on target to complete project by 1st of August.
June 28-Connector has been built between church and new building and it has roof in place. Tile begin installed in bathrooms; wall boarding continues to be installed in new building; heating and air conditioning ducting being installed; block work almost finished on outside of building; rennovation going on in church; windows will be installed this week.
June 17-Lights have been installed in parish hall, ceilings are in process of installation in bathrooms, cloak room and conference room, constructon has resumed on the connector between old church and new mission center, demolition in full mode on old church, painting continues, parking lot has been striped.A lot of visible happening this week.
May 22-Side walks being poured, gas lines installed by DTE, sewer connected, painting, wall boarding continuing, siding and soffet continuing, parking lot expected to be paved Friday May 23, footings for connector from old church to new Mission Center, and demolition on front of church.
May 15-Wall board being installed, siding put up, and painting has begun.
April 29-Windows installed, doors frames in, insulation and drywall installed in fellowship hall, storm piping and catch basins are being installed. WORK IN PROGRESS: finish masonry; start siding and soffits; install flooring in fellowship hall; install ductwork & lighting in fellowship hall; pave parking lot and sidewalks.
April 8-concrete floors being poured, roof put on and windows installed this week.
WE BROKE GROUND IN JAN 2008 AND HOPE TO HAVE IT COMPLETED BY JULY. THE CONTRACTOR IS ORION CONSTRUCTION. .
